integrating a laser imaging scanner onto a network. This is a laser
scanner based imaging that captures X-ray imaging from any X-ray machine
and saves the image as a DICOM image format. The network integration has
been working seamlessly since installation. This setup is now being used
as a template for all other installations across the country. Systems
integration is a snap when BSC International Is involved. First ever multi
user/networked setup for a hospital in the US was also done by BSC
International.

Candela Corporation the number two aesthetic laser
manufacturing company in the world, wanted an electronic sales library,
BSC International was hired. Design and implementation of an electronic
sales, marketing, product brochure, journals, technical data and
educational library was designed and deployed. The database is Internet
driven with secured users and password protection. Sales and marketing
force anywhere in the world could now electronically email or download
documents on the fly. They don't have to wait for head main office to send
them journals, articles brochures etc anymore. This is now done online
through the Internet. The site was designed for 800 concurrent users.
ESC Medical Systems needed a secured wide area network, BSC
International was up to the challenge. The network was designed to support
700+ concurrent employees across the world. IT span from Boston, New
Jersey, Washington State to Israel in the middle east. BSC International
was able to create a secure Network, spanning multiple continents and time
zones. Collaborative mail and data files were shared across the network
and across the world. Users can log on to the network anywhere in the world
at any of the office location and have access to the network. Security was an issue. This was solved easily with
the help of BSC International experienced staff. Intrusion detection and
virus attacks were also addressed.
Biolink Corporation, a. Boston based medical equipment manufacture needed
a secured functional wireless network for the whole office. BSC
International deployed a wireless network that was so transparent, most
users could move their laptops while working. The wireless network was
integrated to a satellite office that was wired. Also the international
sales team were linked through a VPN for connection with the home office.
The most prestigious marathon in the world; The
Boston Marathon Medical team organizers (BAA & Charles River Therapy)
needed a real time medical tracking Interactive monitoring database with
15,000 marathon runners, they called on BSC International in 1998, 1999, 2000,
and 2001. This was especially a unique task since there was not a known
application of this magnitude has ever been developed anywhere.
Real time data was used to monitor and track any and
all disabled runner's. Families and, etc., could easily locate where a
registered runner has been treated or transported to the hospital. This
was a revolutionary process that caught the eyes of A. Boston newspaper
that reported about BSC International innovative database last year. Year
before, BSC International was also featured on Channel 5 for a
technological triumph in tracking 150000 runners at the Boston Marathon.
Also Natick Labs, a branch of United States Army Research facility, uses
the data to understand analyze different stress conditions based on
weather (temperature) etc. This is a nice wealth of information that can
be quarried and archived for future analysis. Also BAA medical team uses
this critical data after every marathon to determine how to prepare
adequately for future marathons.
Secured Internet based E commerce
PayMatic.com wanted a secured Internet money transfer
for members across the world; BSC International was approached after a
couple of failed efforts. BSC International's experience in the areas of
networking, security, e-commerce and intrusion detection was brought to
bare. BSC International was able to design an e-commerce with a growth
plan thus accommodating special needs of PayMatic. VPN solutions was also
deployed for remote bank managers for MIS reporting features. Security is
prime and real time intrusion detection was deployed.
